Senior All-America Teams Selection

  2. Nomination of Players: Players are nominated from across the country, with nominations coming from coaches, athletic directors, or competing coaches within the same league or region that believe a player is deserving of this honor.

  4. Selection Process: Inside Lacrosse, in collaboration with the All-America Selection Committee made up of regional coaches, oversees and leads the selection process. This joint effort brings together national expertise and regional insights to evaluate the nominated players comprehensively.

  6. Selection Criteria and Final Team Formation: The committee assesses players based on their performance, skills, and overall impact in the sport. The final selection results in 44 boys and 44 girls being chosen for the Senior All-America teams, who then participate in the All-America Lacrosse Senior Game live on ESPNU at Johns Hopkins Homewood Field.

Highlight Division Selection

 

Nomination Process: Current high school juniors from across the country are nominated, in anticipation of their rising senior summer.

 

Selection Process: The selection for the Highlight Division is jointly conducted by Inside Lacrosse and the All-America Selection Committee, comprising regional coaches. The selection team combs through all of the nominations and votes on the team roster. This collaboration culminates in a diverse group of talented players in the Highlight Division.

 

Top Players Compete for Their Region: The top 23 selected players from each of the 12 regions will travel to the main event in Maryland to determine which region is the best!
